What’s the best chainsaw-related gift you’ve ever received?

I've picked up a few useful tools throughout the years, but one chainsaw accessory I received for Christmas turned out to be more helpful than I anticipated. It got me curious about what chainsaw-related gifts others have enjoyed the most.
 
The most unexpected gift was a small stump vise. I usually sharpened my tools on the tailgate or whatever surface was nearby, but having that vise in my pocket made sharpening in the field so much simpler than I had anticipated.
 
A surprising gem was a pair of anti-vibe gloves that a friend slipped into my stocking. I never really considered using them before, but after a long day of cutting storm debris last spring, I realized just how much they actually helped.
 
Last Christmas, I received a simple filing guide, and to be honest, I didn’t think much of it at first. But after using it a few times, I noticed my chains were cutting significantly smoother. It’s definitely one of the most unexpectedly handy gifts I’ve gotten.

Wow, it looks like your wife has a PhD in gift-giving. She really knows how to select the perfect gift for your shop.

When I retired from the military in 2007 the guys gave me a logsplitter as a retirement gift. It was the perfect retirement gift for me. I use it all the time. The key to having a large woodpile is a good logsplitter!
 
What a great retirement gift. A good log splitter really is a game changer for anyone who takes their woodpile seriously
