Imagine yourself deep in the forest, saw ready, with the morning chill wrapping around you and a day full of tasks ahead. What do you reach for to keep your focus and make those long cuts a breeze, coffee, tea, or an energy drink?

I'm all about coffee strong and hot and it never judges me for getting an early start.
It keeps me alert through those long cuts and honestly, the smell alone makes braving the frost worthwhile.

I prefer tea. It's light and warm, and somehow makes each cut feel smoother. Plus, I don't deal with jittery hands when I'm holding the saw, which is a major plus on those chilly mornings in the woods.

It really depends on the day, coffee for those frosty mornings, tea when it's a bit milder,
and the occasional energy drink when I've got a massive pile to get through.
Each choice keeps me focused and makes the work a bit more enjoyable.

Guilty pleasure: energy drinks. Some days, you really need that extra boost to tackle those big logs. Just have to be careful not to overdo it, or the chain might not appreciate it.

In this cold weather in the forest, with a long and demanding day ahead, I usually reach for the stanley thermos of black coffee my wife gave me

I stick to black coffee in an old thermos, same routine for years. It keeps me focused without that jittery feeling from energy drinks. And it actually stays hot longer than those fancy insulated bottles that always seem to leak or break.

I used to guzzle energy drinks and then switched to water. Coffee all day made me crash around 2 PM, ruining the rest of my day.

I go with hot tea and honey. It might seem soft, but it really helps, stays hydrating, provides steady energy without a crash,
and won’t make me shaky on the saw like coffee or energy drinks do.
Plus, it’s gentler on the stomach.
