Just checking in to say hello and introduce myself.

My background is in forestry, arborist work, and wildfire fighting. I have been running a saw since I was 12, so I have more experience than some and less than others. I am a self-taught saw mechanic who is always trying to figure out the quirks of various saws.

I am relatively brand agnostic but tend to favour the European saws.

When I am not running a saw, I am not opposed to getting medieval with an axe. I am heavily involved in our local logger sports scene.

I am looking forward to learning from everyone here and sharing what I have picked up over the years.
