John Deere 55v, Echo 680, Echo 330

Hello;
Yes I said John Deere 55v. For those that don't know the 55v I bought in the late 70's or very early 80's . And it still runs great! I love my saws. I am not a pro, but a land owner in constant need of a clean up.
That old John Deere is what convinced me to stick with Echo. For a tree or 2 small ones I grab that one. I use the 330 for limbing and trimming. Echo cs680, for larger work or longer work session. It is more comfortable to use.

JD 55V is a total classic, those old Echos made by Kioritz were super reliable. Your saw collection is a great idea: a light one for quick jobs, a mid-size one for branches, and the 680 for the really tough stuff. That's a smart way to handle your saws when you're caring for your property.

That 55V is built tough! Its magnesium case and carb can take a beating. If you keep the fuel mix right and switch to newer chains, you can keep it running for much longer.

I've owned a 680 for a bit. It is a great ground saw for harder bucking jobs. It's a bit heavier than the saws that I use for most of my work, but I find it to be a true, older style Echo, built really tough, and built to last.
