I have an MS270. It originally stopped running due to the inlet tube ripping open. This was caused by one of the anti vibration mounts breaking and causing the engine to move too much. I fixed that too but it still wouldn't run. So I fitted a new carburettor, filters, supply pipes, fuel tank vent and ignition coil. It ran on fast tickover for about a minute, if I revved it, it cut out almost immediately. I bought another carburettor with similar results. Compression is good. Everything seems good, it just won't run for more than a minute, 2 or 3 if I don't rev it. Also tried various settings on fast and slow screws with no change. Any suggestions?. I am at my wits end.

Vacuum and pressure test is warranted in this situation.
You did check the pulse hose, right?

Pulse hose is fuel supply hose. New one fitted with no leaks. Fuel is definitely getting to carb. Still doesn't run correctly. Tried various settings on high and low screws. Still no good.
