You’re out there with the saw, your breath making clouds in the chilly air, thinking it’ll be just like summer work. But then the hard ground, slippery surfaces, and your heavy gear hit you in the face. What lessons have you learned from cutting down trees when it’s cold?
 
Keep moving to stay warm. Either pace yourself so you don't sweat or peel layers. Self check toes and fingers for numbness often. Drink water. That's often forgotten. Don't let the cold narrow your focus on safety
 
Great advice. Really important to stay hydrated and not let the cold get in the way of working safely. Smart cold‑weather mindset.
