Hey, folks! I'm mostly just cutting firewood with my old Stihl, which is still running strong. I'm wondering what kind of saws you all use and how you keep them sharp.

Always like to hear that those old saws are still getting it done. Which model do you have?

The saw that gets most used by me is a Stihl 462 for firewood. But I have an 020T for trimming and a mill with an 880 on it. Those 3 get it done for me despite having multiple others

I’ve had my old Stihl 028 Super for years now, and it still starts up easily and cuts like a champ, especially when I’m getting firewood.

Great to know those older Stihls are still going strong, the 028 Super really is a classic. I appreciate the tips and the link on sharpening chains, it'll be super useful.
