I just know of them that I read and I am not as knowledgeable with those, but I just asked a guy that is and he said "hell no" 20" max
He said 24" bar on that saw would kill it, unless you are just using it to prune large limbs and need the reach

I wouldn't run a 2 foot bar on a 50cc saw. You'll put a lot of stress on the engine and clutch, and the oiler on smaller saws arent always adequate for longer than optimal bar lengths. You'd have to be careful and keep everything cool. Like was said, if you are just reaching for small limbs it would probably be OK. Don't go trying to buck firewood or cut up big trees.

I can verify this. My neighbor tried it a while back, let's just say he wasn't a happy camper

I think the chain pitch for that model is typically 3/8 inch, but double check your specific chain to be sure before buying.
24" is possible but not recommended.

No. Even if you have the power, I don't know of any 50cc saw that has enough oil output to keep up with that length. 20" MAX, and safer to be in the 16-18" range for most 50cc saws.

No you will kill it in no time' As stated 16" to 18" and small limbs on trees
maybe but the problem is there you will run into a bigger tree and use it
on that and that will be enough. When you are talking 24" bar you would be
looking at a minium of about 60cc but I run more than that. My Stihl 056
AV Super I am running a 20" but know it will take a lot bigger bar and my
Jonsered 930 Super I am running a 24" and same as above and they a around the 87 to
88cc.

Yep, a 24-inch bar really needs some power behind it. Anything less than 60cc is going to have a hard time and probably wear out fast. Your 056 and 930 are perfect for that size bar, but smaller saws just won't cut it.

Agreed. A 24-inch bar requires significant power, so anything less than 60cc will struggle and wear out quickly. Your 056 and 930 models are well-suited for this size, but smaller saws lack the necessary torque and power

Even my 460 Rancher has trouble at times pulling the 24" bar. 20" runs like the proverbial XXXXX ape. This is the reason I am upgrading to a 70cc saw. I love the 24" bar but don't like how it bogs down at times.
