I've swapped out bars countless times but I always end up choosing the same size for my regular tasks. What bar length do you keep coming back to and what makes it your favorite?

I always find myself returning to a 20", it’s just the right balance for most tasks without exhausting me

Totally understand that! It’s amusing how we all find that perfect bar length that just clicks for the type of cutting we’re doing.

I have three 50cc- saws. Two have 20" bars and the other 18". I got an Echo CS-4910 on clearance with a 20" bar. After the holidays, I will muffler mod it & pull the limiter plugs. Would a 16" bar make sense?

It gets tiresome bending over to make it cut on wood on the ground. 25 to 28 inch. For me means I don't have to bend over as much. It also means I don't have to switch over to a bigger bar nearly as frequently then I would if I was cutting with an 18 inch bar

Interesting mix, looks like 18 to 20 inches is the sweet spot for most, but those larger bars definitely have their own advantages.
