best light battery chainsaws for Woodwork

my Kobalt 80V chainsaw is starting to feel like a workout every time I head into the woods. it’s great for power, but for just limbing deadwood or the occasional sawlog, it’s getting way too heavy.
I'm looking for a lightweight battery saw that’s perfect for that stop and start pace. I don't need a beast for felling, just something nimble that won't kill my arms after an hour of cleanup.

any recos for a light woods saw?
 
Check out the Makita 40V top-handle saw. It's super light, making it great for limbing work, and the battery just keeps going for smaller cuts. I use mine for what you’re talking about, and my shoulders really appreciate it. I feel way less tired compared to handling the heavier saws.
 
If you're already using Milwaukee batteries, the M18 Fuel is a good choice. If not, the EGO 14-inch is a solid pick and much lighter than your 80V saw.
Both are perfect for limbing without wearing you out.
Save the Kobalt for those times when you really need the extra power.

im looking to buy used Kobalt 80 volt 18inch chain saw if its for sale how much saw chain battery and charger [email protected]
 
For those of us that have a lot of trimming on bushes, small trees, etc,. the GTA hand trimmer from Stihl works well (my wife's saw). I also have a MSA140 I saved from scrap. Hardly ever get the gas saws out now as I no longer cut firewood.

See a lot of older customers with small saws that sit more than used. Keep those carburetors in stock.

No carb and fuel to go bad with battery.
Batteries have there place in that niche.
 
Battery stuff is the wave of the future for sure. Won’t ever replace gas for loggers or firewood cutters.
Just remember guys, battery saws kick back too !
