Best season to fire up the saw

Which one do you prefer for getting the saw going, and what makes it easier, quicker, or just more enjoyable for you?

Cooler weather. No amount of beer breaks is sufficient when it's 90 degrees out

it's fall sason for me. the humidity drops, the bugs are gone, and that crisp air actually helps the saw run a bit crisper, too

I completely agree, there's just something about the cool air, the absence of bugs, and a much happier time with the saw that makes it all worth it.

I process wood here in June so it is not too hot and gives the wood time to season a bit before winter.
