A trimmer. Came in twice for the rings stuck. Not carbon. Finally asked for his fuel.
He was storing it in a milk jug. The rings were stuck by plastic.
No more milk jug, problem solved.

I had a chainsaw that kept shutting off because the impulse line was clogged.
A small crack was the problem. I replaced it, and it’s been running like a dream ever since
