Digital notes or the good old-fashioned paper?

I've been switching between apps and notebooks, trying to keep my projects in check without losing my mind. Sometimes typing is the quickest option but other times there's nothing like the feel of writing by hand. How do you keep your ideas from fading away?

It's a constant struggle, isn't it? Post-it notes are all over my place, and I have this random notes app where ideas go to die. But hey, if something sticks I’m good.

Totally get it! Some days, typing is just easier, but other days, I need a pen in my hand. I just try to write everything down, even the crazy stuff, or it disappears.

I've got like, one app for this, a notebook for that, and a sticky note for basically everything else. It's a hot mess, but hey, it gets the job done… most of the time.

If I want something forever, it goes on paper. I can put it in a drawer and pull it out 100 years from now and it's still there. It hasn't disappeared into cyberspace due to a system crash or an incompatibility issue. It makes me laugh when an app says it'll put the info in a data base or up in the clouds to be retrieved whenever you want it. Liars. Anything i have stored electronically in can stand to lose.

I can relate. If it’s not on paper, it’s as if it never happened.

Couldn't agree more, paper doesn’t crash, and still readable decades later.

When I need to think something out, it just seems better on paper. You can sit, look at it, scribble on it and insert new ides.
I know you can do this on a computer, but paper ( and a pencil with a good eraser!) seems to make the mind work better some days..

True. Paper just works better sometimes.
