Hi Alan, Thanks for the welcome. I bought my first chainsaw in 1982, a Stihl 028AV super that I still have and am in the process of repairing. I have a Stihl MS460 that I bought used 5 years ago. Not a collector, just a user.

Nice to know. You must have several trees if you have been using one since 1982. Do you work as a professional or just have a lot of trees at home?

Just have a lot of trees and use firewood to heat our home for the most part. The saw I bought in 1982 was for scrounging firewood back when I was younger, didn't have many trees or acreage back then.
