Makita chainsaws how do they stack up?

Curious what people think about the Makita 14 Chainsaw compared to other brands. Have you used one? How well did it cut in actual use compared to your favorite chainsaw?

Gave the Makita 14 a shot and it cuts really nicely and steadily. Still my trusty old saw just feels a bit more powerful, you know?

my BIL has one of this. I sometimes borrowed it. it's a great chainsaw, has a quick start, less noise, easy maintenance
we usually use it for trimming, pruning, and firewood

That sounds impressive. With a quick start and minimal noise, it’s definitely a great choice for lighter jobs.
