McCulloch Mini-Mac 6

I recently pulled out my old McCulloch Mini-Mac 6 that's hasn't run in ages.
It was given to me by my dad and I dont remember when it last started.
I have taken all the covers off, did a big clean, and a new spark plug.
It doesn't start, wonder if it's maybe the filter being plugged up, maybe its bad piston seals? Anyone have any advice?
It wants to turn over, but just doesn't run.
Where can I find parts, and an owner's manual and how do I adjust the idle screws properly?

If it's trying to turn over but not starting, the issue's probably related to the fuel system after sitting so long.
Piston seals are less likely to be the first issue..
I'd definitely check the fuel filter inside the tank and replace the fuel lines if they're stiff or cracked.
Old fuel can gunk everything up!

Thank you so much. I will check those actually. It was on my list for sure. It does seem to be getting fuel though.

More than likely based on my experience, if your dads last use of it was with ethanol infested gas, the carb needs cleaned and a new kit installed. You may be doing it already but you should always use non-ethanol for your 2 cycle gas mix.

Carby kit would be the first way to go but if you have a vacuum gauge like a mityvac
or something along those lines take your tank filter off and plug it in there.
See if it is holding pressure and if not either leaky fuel lines or carb. If it has a good
spark and not looking weak it should go. I have a two of them here and as they get
a bit older they can be a bit of a hand full
