helping a friend with his 181c. it's a newer saw. I don't know the history.
what it does is it starts very easy. it goes immediately into high revs, chain moving. I did take the chain off after I saw what it was doing. once I slightly hit the trigger it dies. I can keep it going if I keep playing with the trigger for the high rpms. I did put a new fuel filter in it and ran a little mechanic in the bottle in it. no change. hi lower way out. I screwed them all the way back in clockwise and back out one full turn counterclockwise. did not affect it really. I did not want to do much because I really don't think the tuning is the issue as like I said it's a newer saw. not sure where I go from here. my gut says it's a carburetor issue. any advice would be appreciated
