Hi I am just became a new member and was asked to showcase my collection saws. I do also repair Stihl saws as a hobby. My current collection exists of the following models: ms 192T, 200T, 201TC, 260, 341 and a 460.
Currently working on a ms 280, 201TC and two 291’s and just finished a 391 where I installed a new cylinder.

Welcome to the forum! You got a solid collection there!
The 391 with the new cylinder sounds like a fun project.. what was the issue with the old one?
What's also going on with that 280?

Hi and thx for the interest.
The 391 had a scored piston and cylinder. Maybe ran to hot, but for sure did had a lot of dust to eat because of an after market air filter that came detached.
The 280 had a detached sprocket from the clutch drum. Never seen that before. It was not worn and it was original Stihl.
New project is a 201TC that won’t idle. It’s a first generation and it does the calibration process, but still doesn’t idle and also runs poorly. Way to rich. I only have 105 psi for compression, so I think I need to find the solution in that area.
Cheers,
Ramon

Nice lineup, 200Ts especially are getting harder to come by in good shape. Sounds like you've got plenty of projects to keep you busy, and swapping a cylinder on a 391 is no small job. Looking forward to seeing more of your repairs and builds
