Need help with a project that's really not worth doing but I'm on a personal quest to get this thing running. I'm sure many of you understand how that can go.
I posted elsewhere but haven't gotten much help.
I'm working on a Craftsman 18"/42cc model #358.350880.
It has a Zama C1M W26B 66A carburetor.
In my search for a replacement; the replacements for a Zama C1M W26B that I've been able to find have a different throttle setup.
Here's a photo of mine with one of the replacements I've been finding. The throttle action is different but I'm guessing it does the same thing?
Also, the replacements are Chinese knock offs. Anyone have success with a $15 carb replacement? Again, my only goal is to get it running 😂 so I'm not wanting to buy a new Zama.
Thanks

I did a little research and hope I'm being helpful and it seems like those $15 knock-offs could work. Just make sure the throttle linkage is a perfect match, or you might end up with some performance issues.
