After dealing with a few frozen chains, you’ve probably realized that having the right winter bar oil mix can really make a difference. What’s your secret recipe? Do you throw in something special to keep those clogs at bay, or do you stick with the tried-and-true classic? We’d love to hear about your mix.

Learned that having the right mix for winter is super important.
I usually go with a lighter oil and add a bit of vegetable oil to keep it flowing.
This way my chain doesn't freeze up when I'm out in the snow!

Dealing with frozen chains is the worst! I like to add a little kerosene to my regular bar oil for the winter. It thins it out just right, so everything runs smoothly, even in the cold.
