Chainsaw cutting techniques - best practices?

Been using my saw a lot for storm cleanup lately and I've run into some kickback issues. Looking for some advice on the best stance, cut angles and safety habits that can really make a difference.

Been through that myself after a storm, just keep your front hand steady steer clear of the tip zone and angle your cuts to avoid pinching the bar.

Keep your stance steady, thumbs wrapped around the grip and steer clear of using the tip, those habits really help reduce kickback.

Certain cuts can be made with either hand/arm braced on a leg that makes for a more stable/solid grip. Be aware of where you're sticking the tip of the bar and whats behind the piece you're cutting. If you don't know, don't do it. And always always keep all of your body out of the line of fire from top of the bar in the event it does kick back.
