The cutting tricks that actually save time

As I looked back at some of my recent projects, I realized that a couple of small cutting habits have made things a lot smoother for me. It got me wondering what's a technique or simple tip that has saved you the most time or effort recently?

I group cuts that are alike. I do all the notches, grooves, or straight cuts at the same time instead of switching between tasks. This makes things faster and I make less errors.

I started using chalk to mark cut lines first. It seems small, but it's kept me from re-cutting and guessing angles a lot these past few weeks.

I sharpen my chains before cutting for the day. It takes a few minutes, but my cuts are smooth and quicker since I don't stop as much.
