Echo 620p

Hi all, I have a 620p that I can't seem to achieve full power. Sounds good, little hard starting, stops when the spikes get pulled into wood. Anyone give me a good idea of settings on that carb?

A good baseline for the carb settings on an Echo 620p is usually to turn both the low speed and high speed mixture screws all the way in until they are gently seated, then back them out one full turn. This should give you a starting point that allows the saw to run. Once it's running you can fine tune the high-speed screw. If that does not help, you might be dealing with an air leak. Older saws can get air leaks from cracked intake manifolds or seals.

Also, try to check is a clogged exhaust or muffler. Carbon buildup can restrict the engine's ability to expel gases, which can cause a loss of power.

Check your air filter and fuel mix. sometimes it’s the simple stuff that throws everything off. Let us know how it goes.
