Echo CS-400 fix

I got an old Echo CS-400 from my neighbor's barn. It hadn't run in a long time, but I grabbed it for $20 and some homemade pickles haha!

I cleaned it and got spark, but now it has a fuel problem. The fuel lines were cracked and the filter was gone. I put in new ones, but it still slows down when I hit the throttle. The carb looks okay, so maybe the diaphragm is bad? Did I miss anything?

Had a CS-400 do the same thing. Even with new lines and filter, the little screen inside the carb was plugged with varnish. Pop the carb open, clean that screen, and slap in a new diaphragm. Mine ran like new after.

Don't forget to check the fuel tank vent. Just make sure that it is clear and there is no clog in the muffler screen. Skipping these steps can cause the engine to bog when you open the throttle.

Has a replacement carb become available for the CS400? My fuel inlet nipple broke off and having major trouble keeping the fuel line attached to it.
