I got bit by the chainsaw bug some years ago, but really got bit in late 2017. 30 years ago I cut for the first time with a plug in electric Eager Beaver (McCulloch) with a 16” bar. Then in 2017 I needed a portable saw so I got a Stihl MS180 CB-E and I love it. I ended up repairing saws for people I know and have enjoyed learning about how they work and how to fix them. I have watched Buckin Billy Ray, Donyboy, Taryl Fixes All, Mower Medic, Vintage Engine Repair, Steve’s Small Engine Saloon, and many others on YouTube. The chainsaws I have worked on: Craftsman 36cc 16”, Husqvarna 445 X-TORQ 15-16”?, Poulan Wood Shark P3314WS, Husqvarna 440 X-TORQ. Other equipment: Kombi system Stihl KM 90 R string trimmer, Shindaiwa T-230 pro string trimmer, Honda HHE 31C 4 stroke blade edger, John Deere JX-75 mower, Honda HRR216K9VKAA mower. Two of the saws and the Stihl KM 90 R needed new fuel lines. They were challenging and like brain surgery for me at first. I have very much enjoyed working on them so far and have learned so much.
