I have an old husky that I don't know what model it is. The serial number is 116028. It looks like a L65 or L77.

Okay, so serial number 116028 probably means it was made in the early to mid-70s. Have a look for a model tag, maybe on the back handle or under the saw. Just so you know, the L65 has a smaller cylinder and a different air filter than the L77. If you measure the bore, or find the displacement stamped on the cylinder, you can be totally sure which model it is.

Afaik, if it has a 48mm bore then it is an L65. However, a 52mm bore would match the L77. Have you checked the tag color and carburetor type? The L65 often carried a Tillotson HS carb, while the L77 used a slightly different setup.
