Pole saw

I’m in the market for a pole saw and would like some input on a couple of options. Need it to trim up along the edges of my pastures so I can get my tractor mower under the canopy. I have pretty much decided on a 12” bar I just wanted some opinions on brand.
1). Stihl or Echo

Stihl'll give you more torque and durability, Echo's lighter and easier on the arms. For pasture work, I'd take Stihl, it costs more, but you'll thank yourself after your hundredth branch

Option: something that uses the "attachment capable" system, so you can use one power head with the pole saw, a brush cutter, string trimmer, whatever. I think it's "unofficial", but the Stihl KM-xxx "Kombi" power head will actually work with the "universal" attachments made by a slew of other brands.
