Stihl 026 won't start

Hello everyone, I am facing a problem with my 026. It was stored like for 2 or 3 years, and I decided to use it again so I changed spark plug, rebuild the carb and changed air filter. It has good compression, it has spark but it still won't turn on. I tried even with some mixture down the cylinder and still it didn't turn on. Sometimes it sounded as if it wanted to turn on but then it doesn't. Usually if presented fuel problems the mixture down the cylinder gets it to turn on or turn on and then dies but here it's like it doesn't have spark but it does. Ive tried the new spark plugs and others I have from my other chainsaws that work. I don't know what could be the problem. I wa suspecting probably the coil but at this I don't know.

Check resistance with a meter, anymore more than 2 ohms the coil is bad

If you have a Mityvac 8500 pressure tester take the filter off the tank end
and plug it in your hose there. It should hold pressure there if you pump it
up to 8 or 10 pnds if it leaks could be still the carby because that will still stop
them running. Check the air gap between coil and fly wheel make sure
that's right.
All the years I have repaired chainsaws that's the normal reason people bring them
to you. Does the spark look good and healthy like nice and blue if not probably a weak spark.
Sounds a bit funny that it runs with a bit of fuel down the spark plug hole and dies still points
at the carb to me.

Possibly a crankshaft seal
If one is completely dried and stiff there won’t be enough vacuum and pressure to transfer the fuel to the top of the piston
Happened once in a while on 510/ 760 cot off machines.

Pulse and fuel hoses and intake manifold are a good thing to check. At this point, I would be pulling the muffler and doing a vacuum and pressure test. You will most likely find the seal under the flywheel leaking under vacuum. Occasionally a cylinder gasket. Check those screws.
Plug and switch wires are prone to shorts with age.
Good compression? Did you check the condition of the piston. Caught many of a repair person off guard.
