Trouble with my 10-year-old Husqvarna 141

I tried starting my 10-year-old Husqvarna 141 to cut a tree. I replaced the fuel line and carb diaphragms, but now it won't start...not even with gas squirted into the throttle. Any advice?

First, take a look at the spark. Pull the plug, ground it, and see if you get a strong blue spark. If you don't, try cleaning the flywheel magnets and check the coil gap. If the spark looks good, the next step is to test the compression, low PSI could indicate that the rings are stuck. Also, make sure to check the height of the carb metering lever and the fuel mix ratio.

Make sure the carb's fuel line is hooked up and in good shape.

Have you checked if you didn't accidentally flip the gasket and diaphragm around?
The metal plate should be against the carb body, then the rubber diaphragm, and finally the gasket on top closest to the air filter box.
Next I'd double-check that the impulse port on the carb is lined up with the one on the intake block.
If it's even a little bit off, it won't be able to get the pressure pulse from the crankcase to operate the fuel pump.
It's an easy mistake to make, and it'll cause exactly the symptoms you're seeing.
