What’s the most reliable saw you’ve owned after putting it through over 1,000 hours of work?

All been very reliable over the years.

My 044 magnum. It's probably still cutting wood somewhere by whoever stole it. Started on one pull usually used for 16 years persally and commercial

Ah, the old 044 magnum.
Probably one of the best power to weight saws ever!
They were fast fast fast. And very well balanced with an 18, 20, 24 inch bar.
The only issues they had were intake manifolds that would tear once in a while. Stihl came up with winter and summer ones. Usually solved the problem.
Crank bearings after a million hours.

According to the stihl guys senor sales the design life of a still professional stihl chainsaw is 600 hours what have others been told

The 044 has truly earned its legendary status and it’s fascinating to see how its actual performance often surpasses the official design specs.

Hard to pick between my Stihl 056 AV Super and my Jonsered 930 Super.
They are both good saws and have served me well.
