Makita dcs6421 coil

Looking for a replacement coil for the Makita DCS6421 that isn't $200. Lots of Chinese option but not very confident in them. Anyone have a recommendation?

I'm guessing the $200 coil is OEM? This mean you'll probably find some aftermarket options that are cheaper and I'm guessing there's a price range, so pick the one that fits your budget. Chinese parts aren't the worst thing in the world, but the reviews and opinions are all over the place. Some people say they're crap, while other praise them, so I'm sticking with the tried and true ones.

The Makita DCS6421 is a popular saw and many parts are still available from sawyers who have spare parts from a different project. Sometimes a coil from a similar Dolmar model will fit as well. I get my parts from aftermarket coils from well-known small engine parts suppliers.
