I cleaned up the carb on my new to me Stihl MS250, and it worked well at first. After an hour of cutting, the chain stopped moving when I throttled up. A few quick revs helped, but the problem kept coming back. I took it to a shop, and after checking the bar and chain, they said the clutch and sprocket looked good. The bar tip sprocket was kind of stuck, so I cleaned out a bunch of gunk, and it started spinning better. Put everything back together, and after a few throttle hits, it was working smoothly again.
I'm still getting the hang of using saws, any advice on what else I should check or do?
