A friend of mine recently had a little mishap with a chainsaw while clearing some brush, and it got me thinking, what are the most common mistakes people make when using chainsaws, and how can we avoid them? Let’s swap tips and share our experiences to keep everyone safe.

Whoa, the worst one I saw? Someone was cutting way too high, like above their shoulders, super unsafe! I always tell people to make sure they're standing right and using that chain brake.

Also be mindful of kickback zones, ensure you're standing properly, and keep those chains sharp and tensioned, these practices can significantly lower the risk of typical chainsaw injuries.

Under cutting with the tip of the bar. they can ride up the log and whamo wear them in the forehead.
Sean it happen and not a nice end result. Don't even try it unless you are super skilled and know the angle of
attack,.

Yep, those tip bites can turn bad real quick. Saw someone almost get seriously hurt once so wouldn't risk it.
