I bought this saw for $16 ay auction. It tried to run, but couldn’t quite get there. I replaced the fuel lines and filter, and put in a carb kit. It started once, and commenced itself into a no-spark condition. I guess it needs a coil but they are NLA. What should I do with this saw?

If the coil is no longer available, you might try sourcing a compatible aftermarket coil or checking if any older Echo or Poulan models used the same ignition setup. Some had luck adapting coils from similar-era saws. Do you know the exact engine model or ignition part number stamped on the coil or flywheel?
