When the engine is running it idles fine but when you give it gas it acts like it wants to bog down im thinking it has something to do with either the red or blue wire

Definitely fuel or ignition related and the red and blue wires are often tied to the kill switch or ignition coil. Just go over all connections, especially at the coil and kill switch, and make sure the wires aren't frayed or shorting
